The Leh Ladakh Tour is a high-altitude journey through Leh, Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, and the monastery belt around Lamayuru. Cold desert landscapes, world-famous mountain passes like Khardung La and Chang La, and centuries-old Buddhist gompas define this route. The itinerary is deliberately paced with a full acclimatisation day on arrival, and covers around 800 km of mountain driving in a private vehicle with an experienced Ladakhi driver.
(Day 1- Leh) – Arrival at Leh airport, check in hotel, complete rest for acclimatisation to the high altitude.
Easy evening walk to Leh Market, Shanti Stupa, and Leh Palace viewpoint. Overnight stay in hotel.
(Day 2- Leh local)- Freshen up & going for full day sightseeing, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, Hall of Fame, and Shey, Thiksey and Hemis monasteries, and overnight stay in hotel.
(Day 3- Leh to Nubra Valley)- Check out from the hotel & Travel to Nubra Valley via Khardung La pass, check in at Hunder, visiting Diskit Monastery, the Maitreya Buddha statue, and double-humped camel ride on the Hunder sand dunes, overnight stay in camp.
(Day 4- Nubra to Pangong Lake)- Check out from the camp & Travel to Pangong Lake along the Shyok river route, check in and taking some rest, evening free at the lakeside for sunset, stay in camp.
(Day 5- Pangong to Leh)- Early morning sunrise at Pangong Lake, then Travel back to Leh via Chang La pass, visiting Druk White Lotus School and Thiksey on the way, check in and overnight stay in hotel.
(Day 6- Leh to Lamayuru and back)- Freshen up & going for full day excursion, Lamayuru Monastery and Moonland, Alchi Monastery, Likir Monastery, and Basgo Fort, and overnight stay in hotel.
(Day-7 Drop)- freshen up, early breakfast, and drop at Leh airport for your return flight.
